Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders

Originally formed in 1881, the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders served across the world, as well as back home in Scotland. During the First World War, the regiment raised sixteen battalions, was awarded 68 battle honours, including six Victoria Crosses. They lost 6,900 men during the conflict.
