Monmouthshire Regiment

The Monmouthshire Regiment was a primarily territorial force, originally formed in 1859. At the outbreak of the First World War, the regiment raised ten battalions, with its overseas troops fighting at Ypres, Arras, Cambrai and the Somme, amongst others.
