Prince of Wales’ Leinster Regiment

The Prince of Wales’ Leinster Regiment – also known as the Royal Canadians – was an infantry regiment of the British Army. Created in 1881, it recruited in central and eastern Ireland. During the First World War, seven battalions were raised, fighting on the Western Front, on home soil and in the Balkans.
